• Each houseboat is of excellent construction and luxurious furnishing, with exquisite flooring, hull and valavara (canopy). They are in top cruising worthy condition.

• Houseboat is provided with a sun deck, spacious living / dining area (200 sq. ft.), one, two and three bedrooms (varying from 100 sq. ft.- 130 sq. ft.), separate toilets for the crew, spacious passage and a neat, classy kitchen (75 sq. ft.).

• Adequate numbers of buoys are provided and so are fire buckets.
  

  • Solid wastes and sewage are not directly discharged into the water, bio-chemical alternatives are provided and for energy requirements solar power is used.

  • Wherever possible environment-friendly practices are put to use and plastics are strictly not used.

  • Locally available palm trees, areca nut trees, bamboos and other ethnic materials are used for the boat construction. Also local communities are encouraged to actively involve themselves in this venture.

  • The services of professional cooks are available on the boat. And the fixed menu offered is excellent and exotic.

  • Excellent reading materials can also be accessed.

Conditions

1. The above rates are non commissionable.
2. Children below 5 yrs are free.
   1. Children above 5-12 Rs.750/- without extra mattress.
   2. Children above 5-12 Rs.1500/- with extra mattress.
   3. Extra person              Rs.1750/- with extra mattress.
3. Check in time Alleppey 12.00 noon Kumarakom 12.30 PM
   1. Check out time 9.30 AM
4. For Kumarakom - kumarakom route, Rs.1000/- will be extra on the Alleppey –    Kumarakom route.
5. The above rates of inclusive of Luxury tax.
6. Ac will be operated whenever requested by the guest for premium houseboat.
7. For deluxe houseboats, AC will be operated from 9 pm to 6 am.
8. Cruise include Lunch, Tea, Dinner and Breakfast – Menu veg or non veg
9. 100% retention will be charged if cancellation is made within 24 hours of check in time.
10. Any change in Luxury Tax or Service Tax from April Ist 2011 onwards will be informed later and will be applicable.
11. Any other Tax Levies Duties applied by the Central State or Local Authorities will be applied from time to time.
12. Payment should be made in advance along with the confirmation voucher.
13. Service tax applicable will be extra on the above rates.
14. At present 3.09% Service tax on the above rates.
15. From December 20th to January 10th -25% hike on the above rates.
16. The rack rates would be 25% higher than the special rates.
